Road to Happiness
The new catalog is brimming with amazing stamp sets but this was one of my first purchases. I LOVE this set because there are so many things you can use it for. Check it out HERE  To create this card you'll need these tips. 1) Check out those cool tires!  I stamped the grid image from Mixed Medley onto Basic Black cardstock using the NEW Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.  Punch two of them using the 1/2" circle punch, adhere with a glue dot, add a dot in the center using the NEW Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker,  3) The flower image was created so that it fits INSIDE the car. The bottom edge is normally straight eliminating the last few lines of the petals. After I colored them in with my markers I just used the Basic Black marker, FINE TIP SIDE, and completed the petals. 4) Since this set was designed for most of the pieces to fit inside the car I created a 'mask' so that I could protect the car image while stamping the inside images.  To create a mask stamp, the car on a post-it-note. Cut it out. Cover your stamped card with the post-it-note then stamp the inside images.  The post-it-note acts as a "mask" to protect the car from any over-stamping when you stamp the other images.  5) I'm gonna reveal a big Lisa Mistake on this card...ready...see the words? I had originally stamped them directly on the white cardstock but I stamped them crooked. Don't you hate when that happens? So, I just stamped them again and mounted them up on Dimensionals.  Instant fix!  How many of you have done this trick before? Come on ...fess up! :D
