Sunshine and Sprinkles

Happy March everyone...one of my very favorite months because it's a transition month from 'winter' (well, what we call winter in Florida) to our 'spring' (well, what we call spring in Florida)! The weather is always perfect these next three months and I relish the thought of sitting poolside or by the beach soaking up the rays of the sun without melting in sweat. March, April and May are still in Florida's "dry season" but many of you live where these months bring rain. You know that old saying "April showers bring May flowers." This card represents just that but with a Get Well twist. A few punches and you're all set.

Creativity for a Cause

I serve as the assistant lead on behalf of Stampin' Up! for the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa, FL. It is my responsibility to ensure all 14 guest rooms are stocked with hand-stamped greeting cards for the families to use during their stay. The RMH uses approximately 300 cards per month and I need more “manpower” to help me create them. This is where your group (Women’s ministry, group of neighbors, friends, Bible study, Mom’s group, Bunco group, etc.) comes in. I will provide pre-designed, pre-cut pieces that are ready to be stamped and assemble. I ask for a $5 donation, per person, to help off set the cost of supplies.
