Simple yet effective!......

The red and white combination is not only striking but FAST!  Here are a few tips to making this card: 1)  Only emboss the card front about 2/3 of the way down. The pattern was too bold and competed too much with the polka dot paper. 2) This designer paper is AMAZING because the reverse side has large open circles which easily turn this more feminine version into a masculine one.  Gotta love when you get 'double your pleasure' from a package of designer paper.  3) When inking the hot air balloon image, stamp "off" one layer of ink on to scratch paper, before stamping onto your cardstock.  This creates a lighter version to your ink and allows you to use ONE color for the entire card with varying shades. 4) I created two 1/2 circle 'tabs' where I mounted the ribbon. You can't really see them in this picture but this added space for me to adhere the ribbon and still keep the "rounded" concept to my card.
