Banners Abound!

A few strips of designer paper, stamped a little cotton ribbon, added an ornament image and voila! Here are a few tips: 1) I cut all the designer paper the same widths but this is a great card to use up your scraps so go ahead and use different widths, even if there is space between them. 2) The new Firm Foam ink pads are perfect for stamping on the cotton ribbon. After I stamped them, I allowed a few minutes for the ink to dry. I was surprised that it didn't bleed. LOVE these new ink pads. If you aren't using Stampin' Up!'s new Firm Foam ink pads be sure to test your stamping on a scrap piece of the cotton ribbon first.  3) to create the banner tips, stack up all three pieces so they are event on one end, insert your square punch so you can mimic this shape and punch.
