It's NEVER a "Labor Day" when you're stamping!
Happy Labor Day...although it's never "labor" when you're stamping! Don't let Christmas sneak up on you. Plan your cards now...I'd be happy to help you.  This SIMPLE card not only looks good, but smells good with Stampin' Up!'s Peppermint Sticks embossing powder. Here are a few tips to making this card. 1) Gingerbread men can come in all colors. Don't feel you have to make him light brown or even a color to coordinate with your designer paper. Here I really took a plunge and made him Early Espresso!  2) The NEW Stampin' Up! Firm Foam ink pads are wonderful. Because of their new juiciness you can stamp then quickly cover the wet image with embossing powder, like I did here, then heat set. 3) I used 8" of Bakers Twine to make a simple bow that I glue dotted on to the gingerbread man's neck.  4) Using Dimensionals on the gingerbread man AND on the cardstock he's mounted on, give the entire card a "lift".
