There's something about black...
it's so elegant, isn't it?  Here are some tips to making this card.  1) The edgelits leave about an 1/8" of white cardstock around the stamped image. I trimmed that off then die cut another ornament from the glimmer paper and mounted one on top of the other. The glimmer paper acts as the layer to the ornament.  2) I added a punched piece of glimmer paper along with a pearl to the center of the ornament to bring continuity to the card background. 3) I heat embossed the ornament for a more elegant look but you could simply stamp it in black if you prefer.  4) Don't over look neutrals to play up a color on a card. (I talked about this in yesterday's post, too) The neutrals designer paper here is actually River Rock. The tones are close enough that they compliment one another.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Ornament Keepsakes, Greetings of the Season (both in the Holiday Catalog pgs. 3 & 8)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Champagne Glimmer Paper (Holiday Catalog pg. 18)
