Simple Thanks
Pretty and simple.....and easy to duplicate. Here are a few tips.  1) Unlike lots of my previous cards, this one has a simple theme of polka dots. The designer paper, the embossed frame and the embossing folder are all the same, making this simple image and the words really stand out.  When you want all the patterns to coordinate think simple images.  2) The best way to use the embossed frame is to stamp your image FIRST then line up the folder around that image THEN emboss it through the Big Shot.  This guarantees you a centered image.  3) For those of you that prefer to stamp separately you could always stamp your image and then punch it out using the XL Oval punch (pg. 184). That particular punch fits perfectly inside this embossed oval frame. 4) I stamped the tulip separately, cut it out and mounted it on a small piece of  Dimensional. Don't waste those areas on your Dimensionals. Cut the border of the sheet up for small images like this. 5) To get two colors on one stamp; like I did here on the vase, use your markers directly on the stamp, "huff" (I call this the Darth Vader technique) then stamp. The "huff" remoistens the ink giving you a clearer image.
