Poppin' the Cherry!
Got ya' on this title, didn't I?  Well, it's the kinda' pop that you get from using a Soda Pop Top that's featured in the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog on page 24.  These little gems are so versatile.  I smashed the pop top for this card and here are a few to recreate your own card:
  • The pop top was smashed in the Big Shot (no tabs, between 2 clear mats) and adhered with a glue dot.
  • Stamp the cupcake image twice; once on pre-measured piece of cardstock that you will color in and another on a piece of scrap. Color in an area that you wish to make your focal point, punch out and adhere to the center of the soda pop top with a glue dot. Here I used the top of the cupcake as my focal point.
  • I used several embossing folders to create more texture on this card. Try mixing and matching folders for a fun look.
  • Cut two pieces of Calypso ribbon at 4". One piece you'll adhere the raw ends to the back of the black cardstock and the other you will tuck under that piece to tie.  The white ribbon is cut to 3 1/2" and slipped into the tied Calypso piece.
  • The cherry is punched with red glimmer paper and adhered with a glue dot.
