  Affection - Always!

This is one of those stamp sets that's a well kept secret. It's featured in the Holiday Catalog on page 35. I never gave it a second look until I received it for FREE at Stampin' Up! Convention.  (yep, another perk of being a demonstrator - FREE STUFF!) This set was provided to us to use in our make & takes.  Honestly, I still wasn't "sold on it" until I got it home and now I can't get enough of it. It's so versatile!  You can find a scrapbook page I created with it here. Here are a few tips to making this card. 1) I stamped directly on the designer paper to create a more interesting background. This technique works well with designer papers that have a simple, repeated pattern.  2) Use of the framelits makes the words and the mat EASY to create. You can cut them BOTH at the same time.  Stamp the words on vanilla cardstock and place it on the clear mats to your Big Shot. (You can find directions on how to make the Big Shot "sandwich" for use with various dies in the catalog on pages 186-192). Place the Basic Gray cardstock on the same clear mat, just above the vanilla piece. Place your two different size framelits on each piece, positing the words carefully.  If necessary, use a Post-it-Note to hold the framelits to the clear mat and run them through the Big Shot. 3) I used 10" of ribbon to make the bow.
