Gently Falling with Thanks
Who says that fall has to be just earth tones?  Tips:  1) I've said this before, challenge yourself with color.  Here the Pool Party works wonders with the black. 2) This card could easily be a masculine birthday card or a sympathy card simply by changing the greeting. The timeless pieces in this stamp set make it a practical purchase.  This is also a great stamp set for scrapbooking and 3D art.  3) The ribbon is a 2" piece.  Adhere the raw ends together with SNAIL or a glue dot and tuck it behind the words.  This little loop of ribbon adds a lot of dimension to the card, although you can't appreciate it in this picture.  4) Don't over look the power of a sponge!  I sponged the edges of the frame around the words so that it blended into the background of the leaves. 5) Instead of a large piece of black behind the leaf image, use your scraps. Here is used a 1" strip at the top and another 1" piece (which has been punched) at the bottom. This saves LOTS of cardstock. 6) The words are from Perfectly Penned - one of the amazing SINGLE STAMPS available now, for a limited time!
