Peace

It's not too early to be thinking about Christmas. In fact, now is the best time. If you're anything like me, you really hate the last minute crowds to try and find the perfect gift. It's for this very reason that I begin my shopping in September. It's always my goal to be finished by the week of Thanksgiving so I can concentrate on wrapping, baking, decorating and ENJOYING my favorite holiday. Tips: I found a much easier way to color in this dove and the spring. Instead of markering it all in, I inked up the dove with Island Indigo then used my Blender Pen to remove the ink on the sprig portion only. Work slowly and carefully to remove all the ink. Then use your markers to color in just the details of the sprig. Make sure you "huff" on your stamp (I call this the "Darth Vader technique") then stamp.

Creativity for a Cause

I serve as the assistant lead on behalf of Stampin' Up! for the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa, FL. It is my responsibility to ensure all 14 guest rooms are stocked with hand-stamped greeting cards for the families to use during their stay. The RMH uses approximately 300 cards per month and I need more “manpower” to help me create them. This is where your group (Women’s ministry, group of neighbors, friends, Bible study, Mom’s group, Bunco group, etc.) comes in. I will provide pre-designed, pre-cut pieces that are ready to be stamped and assemble. I ask for a $5 donation, per person, to help off set the cost of supplies.
